Recipe

Ingredients
8oz porridge oats
4 tbs syrup
4oz marg
3oz sugar
7" square tin

Method
Grease the tin, put marg, syrup, and sugar together into a saucepan. Heat gently until melted. Do not boil. Add oats and mix well. Pour into tin and press flat. Bake at gas 4 or 180 C. On the middle shelf for approx 30-35 mins, until golden brown. Allow to cool for 5 mins. Mark into 8-12 slices. Allow to cool in the tin. Hope you enjoy more recipes to follow. Scrunch 4oz marg 2oz sugar 11/2 tabsp syrup 2oz coconut 2oz cornflakes 2oz oats 2oz SR flour 7" - 9" swiss roll tin Melt marg,sugar and syrup in a large saucepan. Remove from heat and add coconut, cornflakes, oats and flour. Beat well together. Press into the swiss roll tin. Bake at gas 4 or 180 C for 20 mins.

Ingredients
2oz plain flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
2oz oats
2oz castor sugar
1 level tbsp syrup
2 oz marg

Method
Mix all dry ingredients together. Add syrup to marg in a pan and melt slowly. Stir syrup/marg into dry ingredients. Roll out into sausage shape, divide into approx 12.Roll each into a ball, place on a baking tray and flatten slightly. Bake at gas 4 or 180 C on middle shelf.
