Pupil Premium is funding given to schools to raise the attainment of pupils who are in receipt of free school meals, or have been within the last 6 years. Pupil premium is also available for children who have left local authority care due to adoption, child arrangement order, special guardianship order or residence order.
In addition to Pupil Premium, the government has also given schools additional funding to support children whose education was impacted by Covid-19. The amount is £145 per eligible pupil. How this funding has been used is included in our Pupil Premium report.
